About Christie

If you’re new here, hi! I’m Christie, a 30-year-old professional organizer and content creator based in Plymouth, Massachusetts. I’ll get right to it and answer one of the questions I get asked most: how did you become a professional organizer?

It all started May of 2019. I discovered celebrity professional organizers through social media, scrolled through their before and after photos, and fell in love. At the time, I had just received my social work license and was interviewing for positions. I’ve always had a passion for helping others and organizing was something I could not stop thinking about. So with the support of family and friends who knew my type A personality well, I immersed myself in all things organizing. I read books, listened to podcasts, and took online courses. Six months later, I launched Flourish Organizing Company with a simple goal in mind: help people get organized.

What felt like a total leap of faith has completely changed my life. I’ve worked with incredible clients and traveled for the coolest projects (hello, Hamptons). I created an online organizing program and worked with clients virtually. I’ve invested in my business through coaching and attending conferences. I completed a service project in Nashville with organizers from all over the country. And I’ve shared all of it with you through social media over the years.

Fast forward to the fall of 2023, I injured my back and was out of work for months, which forced me to slow down and decide what I truly wanted my life to look like. By spring of 2024, I was ready to take another leap of faith. I made the decision to close Flourish and join Grid + Glam, an organizing company based in the suburbs of Boston, as a Lead Organizer. The founder, Corinne Morahan, has been a mentor and dear friend to me since launching Flourish. Whenever her team needed an extra set of hands on a project, I would always volunteer. Joining her team has truly felt like the perfect fit!

This career transition has allowed me to pursue my growing passion for content creation through social media outlets including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, as well as working with brands to create UGC content.
